It was bottled in 2018 on New Year&#8217;s Eve.<\/strong> <strong>Today we can say that wine has rested after all the procedures it has passed and is ready to give us pleasure.<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6668 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/wine-and-spirits.md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_8271-1.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_8271-1\" width=\"760\" height=\"507\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wine-and-spirits.md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_8271-1.jpg 760w, https:\/\/wine-and-spirits.md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_8271-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/wine-and-spirits.md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_8271-1-585x390.jpg 585w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><\/p>\n<h5><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong>What is the difference?<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Tasting Negre 2016, I noticed that it differs slightly from the previous one &#8211; it is more powerful and expressive, in my opinion. About what has changed in this wine,tells us production director of Fautor, Croitoru Tatiana:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>We changed the composition of the blend. In the first blend was more Rara-Neagra, and in the second &#8211; Feteasca-Neagra. In Negre, 2015 this proportion looks like this 75\/25. Negre 2016, contains 70% Feteasca Neagra and 30% Rara Neagra. And a little changed the conditions of aging the wine. If Rara-Neagra and Feteasca-Neagra from the 2015 harvest were individually poured into the barrels of French oak from Tonnellerie Sylvain, three categories of quality (selection, tradition and reserva), then the wines from the harvest of 2016 were also aged for six months, but in five kinds of barrels. To the previous three barrels were added gran-reserva from the same manufacturer and from American oak &#8211; from another company. This allowed to have a richer palette of components for blending. The ability to &#8220;play&#8221; with barrels is a great luxury for the winemaker.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>When in the process of aging you taste all the wines individually &#8211; this is something ordinary. But when you begin to make a blend, there comes a filling of anticipation of something extremely interesting and important. Emotions overwhelm you knowing you have to choose the best option. Because a lot of work and resources have been invested in creating this wine, you want very much that the result to be perfect. When we created the second wine, we wanted to preserve the style of the first Negre, so from the variants we had strived to choose the closest to the first.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h5><strong>And it succeeded&#8230;<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Have you noticed the emblem of the region with the protected geographical indication of Valul lui Traian over the upper right corner of the label? Negre, 2016, like the previous wine, belongs to the quality category of IGP.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6166 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/wine-and-spirits.md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IMG_6985-1.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6985-1\" width=\"760\" height=\"507\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wine-and-spirits.md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IMG_6985-1.jpg 760w, https:\/\/wine-and-spirits.md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IMG_6985-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/wine-and-spirits.md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IMG_6985-1-585x390.jpg 585w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The color of the wine is dark ruby. The first sensation &#8211; sweetness of the ripe black berries. In the bouquet, intertwined aromas of juicy cherry and sour cherry, blackberry, currant and dried forest raspberries, not obsessively emphasized by the tones of a noble oak. Later, light spices appear in the bouquet, especially black pepper is stands out, and smoky shades of charred wood (roasted barrels make themselves felt).<\/p>\n<p>At first it feels dry cherry taste. After saturation with oxygen, the dryness disappears, the wine becomes soft in taste with sour cherry notes. Long, slightly astringent aftertaste with nuance of cherry pips.<\/p>\n<p>The wine is exciting, evocative, very alive!<\/p>\n<p>Negre, 2016 goes well with meat dishes, but not from chicken, red meat is better suited.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6669 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/wine-and-spirits.md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Negre2-1.jpg\" alt=\"Negre2-1\" width=\"760\" height=\"760\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wine-and-spirits.md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Negre2-1.jpg 760w, https:\/\/wine-and-spirits.md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Negre2-1-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/wine-and-spirits.md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Negre2-1-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/wine-and-spirits.md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Negre2-1-585x585.jpg 585w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><\/p>\n<h5><strong>Manufacturer is confused<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>by the unexpected success and request for Negre, 2015. It was not enough to satisfy demands for export and the local market. The company&#8217;s employees were collecting the remains in stores and gave this wine to restaurants that very much asked Negre for their customers. There were only a few boxes left at the winery, which is to monitor the further development of the wine.
